Myriam Masihy

Myriam Masihy is an Emmy® award winning consumer investigative reporter for Telemundo 51 and NBC 6. She has dedicated her 19-year television career to addressing viewers’ concerns and working to solve problems in the community.

Masihy works as part of the NBC6 Investigators, NBC6 Responds, Telemundo 51 Responde and Telemundo 51 Investiga teams. Her work has helped viewers recover more than 3 million dollars and has been recognized with 22 Emmy® awards.

She is also the producer of several documentaries including Healing Through Food and Lessons from the Jungle that stream across Telemundo and NBC platforms across the country.

Before working as an investigative reporter in South Florida, Masihy was the Broward Bureau correspondent for Noticias 23. She also worked as a news anchor and general assignment reporter for Univision 41 in New York and as a correspondent for the network shows “Noticiero Univision”, “Ultima Hora” and “Primer Impacto.”

In 2011, Masihy co-founded Kakes 4 Kids, a non-profit organization that celebrated the birthdays of hundreds of children in foster care for 15 years.

She has a bachelor’s degree in communication from UNIACC in Santiago, Chile. Masihy is also a Permaculture Designer and Master Gardener Volunteer and is constantly searching for ways to live more sustainably.

She strives to make the world a better place for her amazing daughters Gaby and Fahra and is still giddy with Gino, her husband of 23 years.
